Congratulations to our Orators for a brilliant night of debating at Auckland Grammar
This was their third round of the Premier Advanced debating tournament.
Motion: This house would pay gang members to leave gangs.
AFF DLS 1 (Year 12 Jarren Iuvale, Gabriel Toreja and Nathaniel Siaosi) vs Diocesan Girls – DLS win (currently undefeated)
AFF DLS 2 (Year 12 Exzodia Vagaia, Vaega Ekeroma and Bayley Cummings) vs Mt Roskill – Mt Roskill with a close win.
The boys performed well and represented the school with mana.
Special mention to Exzodia Vagaia, Vaega Ekeroma, Nathaniel Siaosi and Gabriel Toreja, who were selected from a nation wide pool of applicants, to become ambassadors for the Youth United Nations.
