Dear Parents
This Friday 16 May is our Founders Day, a day when we acknowledge the life and legacy of our founder Jean Baptiste De La Salle. Our special guest is Br Peter Bray, currently the head of the Brothers in our region, and former Principal of DLS.
This is an annual celebration of our Founder, of our brotherhood and of our Catholic heritage. Please make sure all your sons get the opportunity to take part in this celebration.
Our day will begin with a mass in the MPC celebrated by Bishop Peter Browne. Following this we will process to N Block to bless our new building. There will then be our second-ever whole-school haka.
The final event is our annual House Haka / Waiata competition. The boys will be dismissed at 1.30pm, with the buses leaving at that time.
This is a normal school day and all boys are expected to be at school. If boys are unable to attend then families must follow the usual procedure of informing the College of the reason.
