Breath of Pacific – 2025 Best Pasifika Business

Another outstanding achievement from our De La Salle boys.
Last Thursday night in Wellington, at the National Young Enterprise Awards, our Breath of Pacific business group was crowned Best Pasifika Business for 2025. Young Enterprise inspires students to discover their potential in business, with programs for secondary students and the YES program.
Breath of Pacific is a business formed by Isaac Ete-Ahken- CEO and Finance Manager, John Faifili- Marketing and Communication Manager and Cairo Palalagi-Tonga, Korey Donaldson-Witehira as Production Managers. The group developed culturally themed car refresheners out of sustainable wood with enhanced longevity and cultural statements.
In October the group were also awarded the best Company of the Year in the South Auckland Region out of more than 100 other companies competing. This is the first time our kura has ever won this competition, earning them a place in the National Finals — with YES covering all flights, accommodation, and expenses.
Congratulations to John Faifili, Isaac Ete Ah Ken, Korey Donaldson-Witehira, and Cairo Palalagi-Tonga on this exceptional accomplishment.
We are incredibly proud of you all!
Well done, young men.
