It is MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS week. We challenge our DLS school community and encourage our whānau / aiga during lockdown with a Whānau Bingo!  – click here for the Whānau Bingo board

Connect. Be Active. Give. Take notice and Keep learning – Wellbeing and Hauora as a family are crucial to staying positive and productive during these uncertain times. We invite you all to join us by completing the Whānau Bingo – a set of activities for you to achieve. Check out the prizes too! There are prizes for individual excellence, most creative Whanau, best PPP overall and across year levels. 

  1. Overall, Most Creative Whānau – The family who get up, out and about, finishing a column across the 5 ways of well being as a team! Family pack of sports gear and games
  2. Overall, Best PowerPoint Presentation – Well documented using a range of media (photos, videos) engaging and meaningful Fitness watch
  3. Best in Year Group – Well documented powerpoint presentations that complete at least one of each column/row from the 5 ways to well being in a meaningful and creative manner. Entertainment prize pack

Monday 27 September there will be an online fono about Mental Health and Wellbeing for Pasifika men.

The Mental Health Foundation NZ have teamed up with CheckMatesPI to bring you an online fono hosted by Pulotu Selio Solomon,
Chair of Men’s Health Trust NZ and All Blacks Great Keven Mealamu.

The fono will take place via Zoom – it’s a great opportunity for Pasifika men to come together and have a talanoa about all things mental health and wellbeing.
