ENROLMENTS FOR 2027 ARE OPEN

How to Enrol

You can apply by picking up an application pack from our College Office from                     8.30am  –  4.00pm OR downloading an online enrolment application.

Our online enrolment application requires:

  1. Downloading and printing the application form,
  2. Attaching documents (see below Documents parents need to attach to the application)
  3. Downloading and printing documents (see below Documents parents need to attach to the application)
  4. The application and all requested documents need to be scanned back to enrolments@delasalle.school.nz.  (Photos of the application pages and E signatures will not be accepted).

Submit ALL forms and documents requested, applications that are incomplete will not be processed for an interview.

Enrolment Application Form

Applications are processed in order of priority, preference will be interviewed first starting with the Year 7, 8 and then 9.

All other Year level applications that are preference will be processed after these year levels and only if there is space available.

All non-preference applications will be placed on our waiting list and if there is space available after all preference applications have been interviewed we will be in contact.

Documents that parents need to attach to the application:

  • Passport size photo
  • Copy of student’s most recent school report or end of year report from previous year
  • If student is a NZ citizen: A copy of his Birth Certificate (preferred), Citizenship certificate or current Passport
  • If student is not a NZ citizen: A copy of Visa documents
  • Catholic Baptism certificate and if possible other Sacramental certificates with the completed Preference Card.
  • If applying in the preference category: Preference Card  Updated Preference Card
  • If the student is currently enrolled at a Catholic School a copy of your son’s latest school fees summary
  • Signed Attendance Dues Form CDA Attendance Dues Agreement Form
  • Immunisation printout from your Doctors, Plunket books are not accepted.

Please do not send original Birth Certificates, Passports, Baptism Certificates with your application, photocopies are accepted.  De La Salle College does not accept responsibility for the loss, damage or return of these documents.

Once you have selected your category and if your application is Preference you must complete a Preference Card    Updated Preference Card   and have it signed by approved agents of the Bishop.

What Happens Next:

Once you have submitted your complete application it will be processed and the enrolment officer will be contact with you to book a formal interview with our Principal.

After the interview the enrolment officer will send an email on the outcome of your application.

In Term 4 we have a new parents evening where our new families are invited to come and meet their son’s teachers and dean. In order for your son’s transition to De La Salle to be successful we encourage families to attend our new parent evening.

At the start of the year when your son starts we have a orientation day for our new students so they can meet the other new students, have guided tours through the school for him to become familiar with the De La Salle College school environment.

Enrolment Timeline (times are estimated)

  • Enrolment applications will be assessed and processed
  • Applicants will be contacted and formal interview booking times given for an interview with a senior staff member of the College
  • Enrolment interviews for all applicants starting with Year 7 & 8 will commence during Term 2 and continue into Term 3.  All other year levels (subject to availability) will be interviewed after Year 7 & 8 interviews are complete. To avoid disappointment we encourage you to enrol by the end of Term 2
  • Notification of student placement will be advised by the end of Term 3
